A typical student

Finally, after hectic weeks of lessons, practicals, tutorials, assignments, tests, projects and group discussions, I can take a SMALL breather. Haiz.. There are some many halloween parties tonight, yet i'm at... Sighed...

Some updates here again, so what does a typical student do during hectic scholastic term....

(1) Mugging very hard...

Well, took this when most of us were waiting, eagerly, for the test to be commerced.
My buddy was sitting beside me, both of us were so busy yawning that we really hope that the test can start earlier than the stated time...

Results? Hahaz, better don't ask.

(2) Lunch (waffles)

This is one of the best waffles in the school.
(Well, the best is still the one served by A&W)
$0.60 only.
Hmm.. quite worth the cost..

(3) Praying to the sky...

When things are too much for you to handle, hmmm, this would be what you should do..

Grazing at the sky and...

Pray for the best...

(4) Doing of practicals..

This is a spectrometer..

You will know what it is use for in the next 2 photos...

(5) Taking a breather...

Well, these are some of the photos that we managed to take during our after-test break two weeks ago...

How i wish december can come again..

Well, those are some of the lifestyle a uni student would have during school term lo..

Hazey days are gone?

Well, when i was trying to 'mug' those my tests last week, there was this funny observation - the haze was very thick and unhealthy for the whole of last week.
Well, below are some of the photos that i can post up.

This photo is taken on friday.
PSI: 100++

This photo is taken on Saturday.
PSI: 147

This photo is taken today.
PSI: less than 50.

Below are some of the shot in other venues...
(See if you are able to spot which one show a hazey day and which is of haze-less day.)

The lucky thing is that the haze has subsided. (Phew!)
Let's keep our fingers crossed and pray that this would not worsen again...

A memorable bowl of laksa @ Alexander Village, Bukit Merah.

After a long week of knowledge-testing exercises, i'm finally free (not totally, still got 2 more exercises to go) for a moment of breather..

Someone asked me along (ok, i have owed this appointment slot for a very long period of time already, that's why i had such a good time to slack and relax for a while) for a walk at the shopping malls around Queensway.

Before we set out for our shopping spree, we went for a lunch at Alexander Village, Bukit Merah. There is a particular laksa stall, in the hawker centre, that is the reowned Depot Road Claypot Laksa. You can order either the small one, medium one, or if you are really hungry and dying to taste what real laksa taste like, you can order the big size one. It cost, at most, S$5.

Well, as the name goes, it is served in the form of claypot (I will post the photo of it by next thursday) ad it is hot and spicy. The laksa gravy is thick and rich. It is of no regrets to try the laksa there. Yummy yummy.

Well, but that is not the point of this post. Actually, the reason why i would remember this claypot so well is all because of the following story, real-based story:

There were this good pair of buddies who have known each other for 4years of their seconday school life (let's call them D and Y). Well, they always sit beside each other during lessons. When they were in Seconday 4, D's results actually slipped (he was the top 30 in the school during his sec 3) while Y was still struggling with his physics (he knows nuts about physics but show extreme rare talents in mathematics). All thanks to D's credit, Y managed to 'scrap' through or his physics major and minor examinations.

There was this open house by a JC on one fine day, both of them actually went there to take a look of the JC (their dreams, and they hoped that they could enter this same JC. Hence, they set to work hard for their 'O's).

After that particular open house, D brought Y to this particular Laksa Stall at Depot Road and introduced this Laksa to Y. He enjoyed this bowl of laksa.

Till the 'O's, D had put too much stress on himself, hence, his results was seriously affected. He did not get into the JC ultimately. Y managed to go to another JC.

From then, both good buddies have lost touch. Last heard:" I think D has gone a little bogus. The reason why this bowl of laksa so significant because it brings the memory of him to me. I remember the things that he had done"

The story behind this particular bowl of laksa has touched my heart, and indeed, i guess life is unpredictable. Love your loved ones when they are still there with you, spend more time with time. Show that you care....

Laksa...

Welcome to my life

From a young, immature kid to a guy who has braved to many storms and rain. I have finally accept the fact that i'm metamorphosing slowly, whether will i be a refined, handsome guy? Well, i guess that is still a big big question mark. (Haha....)

From a guy who only knews what's the new drama series in the mediacorps (used to be known as TCS or SBC), to someone who is heavily involved with moulding the future of our next generation. Life has indeed proved that i'm getting older. (No wonder my legs will feel painful when rain is about to come by. Rheumatism!)

I finally know why people love to bring a camera around and capture the bits and pieces of the things they see. Why, you might ask. Well, i'm one of these groups of people who do that. To be honest, i'm taking photos from time to time. But the difference is - I only have a2.0megapixel handphone camera, with 4x optical zoom. So? Most of my pictures would not be as clear as those taken by Sony or Canon cameras (though the cost of my handphone and the cameras seems to be of the same price, but my phone has a bit more functions that camera. SMS and Games!)

Forget about the guy who seems to lose his direction as frequently as a cats blinking its eyes, he has grown into someone who would try all ways to capture the missig links of life.

So why a new blog, you might ask. Well, this is to show the brand new life, hehe...

Do stay up for more posts and photos...
