随着思维的增长,我也变了?

I have not blogged for quite some time, i have not been doing what i'm supposed to complete too. I have not been myself. And the reasons? I'm also unsure about it.
I have read from one book, that talks about human nature, and it says that as technologies improvement, civilisations prosper, humans might tend to get a little more greedy and un-contented. Un-contented as in they believed that they could achieve more than ever, they believe that they are more superior than someone else. And they believe that they are meant to acheive big things.
You might want to disagree with me. But let's see what i have got here.... Perhaps reading this, you might think that i have cooked up the story, but hey, go and think a little further, you might know what i'm talking about. This is something factual in life; and peharps, something that is quite disheartening (at least, to me).
-----------
In a village of a certain country (being a physics student, i shall call it A), the village started to prosper since years ago. And till now, the people in this village are quite educated. Majority of the teenages have completed their high school, gotten grade 9 or even grade 11 certificates. And most of them have gone to the university to further pursue a degree. These were done in hope of a better future, a better village.
Many years down the road, the education have indeed made the village prosper. The economy of the village improved because of the good education system and plans by the various village heads and dedicated committee members.
However, because this village is one of the many other villages that are prospering well and full of wealth. Many other villages decided to send their people in to learn and work. This has further drove the economy to the peak.
But over the years, things seems to have changed. Many of the younger villagers, because they get to enjoy the fruits of their forefathers, have become complacent. Some of them think that education is for the sake of educating, going to school and attaining grade 9 or 11 were just because of their parents' command. Dropouts seems common.
To make the whole situations worst, many of these teenages believed that they were the one to achieve big dreams, believe that they were the one to do big things. And because of that, lowly-paid jobs like shop attendants and lowly-position clerks were discriminated by them. Bosses decided to use people from other villages to do the work.
Not understanding what's happening, these teenages still think that they were the ones to creat business. They went around influencing each other about not educating, because it does not guarantee a job. And what happen? It seems that more and more of these young villagers think that they are big-shots; they rule the world; they can be complacent; they despise education; discipline was an issue in small village schools; smoking became trend.
The general culture in this village was not well liked by the people from other villages. Tension and competition sets in.

If you were in the village, what would you do?
"Sister Act II" was a show to teach me something great -> If you want to be somebody; If you want to go somewhere, you better wake up and pay attention. The world is very cruel, they are don't care who you kicked it with or who kicked you, as long as you don't have education, you are out of the game.
Want to challenge this statement? Let's see how long you could challenge this statement that lasted true and through for the 2 milleniums in history.
Don't believe me? Well, you've got the brains to think through. Handphones, computers and air cons and languages don't just drop from the sky!
I'm just but one of the commoners in the story. Haha, that's the irony!
